Kenyan Document Legalisation
For the legalisation of Kenyan Documents, submission is through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs online platform; (mfa.ecitizen.go.ke)
Authentication of Foreign Documents
Authentication of foreign documents for use in Kenya.
Requirements:
- Original document and copy issued by a competent Government Authority;
- Document to bear stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country.
- Processing time is 24 hours;
- Processing fee of SEK 100 per document to be paid here and
- For postage, organize pick up using your preferred courier service. The postage must be registered for safe delivery.
- You can use Postnord and share the tracking details (page with sender’s and recipient’s address) via email for dispatch. See the link for Postnord https://www.postnord.se/kop-frakt/sender (250g)
- For Postnord, fill sender’s details: Kenya Embassy Stockholm, Birger Jarlsgatan 37B, P.O BOX 7694, SE-103 95 and recipient’s details are your address.
- For DHL or UPS dispatch, fill the sender’s address: Kenya Embassy Stockholm, Birger Jarlsgatan 37, 2nd Floor , 11145 Stockholm and recipient’s details are your address.
- Please note, we only accept digital stamps issued by PostNord. Physical stamps, international reply coupons, or stamped envelopes are not accepted, including for mail sent within Sweden. Please purchase the required digital stamp(s) and email the digital stamp to consular@kenyaembassy.se. Kindly ensure that sufficient postage is provided in accordance with current PostNord rates.
