Acquisition of Kenyan Birth Certificate

For Kenyan Nationals living in the Nordic Countries and Baltic States, the process of obtaining the Kenyan Birth Certificate is as follows: –

1. Applicant to complete the Kenya Birth Registration Form (Click here);
2. Applicant’s foreign birth certificate. If not in English, should be translated and certified;
3. Applicant’s foreign passport;
4. Birth Certificate(s) of Kenyan parent(s);
5. Passport/s of Kenyan parent(s);
6. Kenyan National Identity Cards of Kenyan parent(s);
7. Passport of non-Kenyan parent; and
8. Marriage Certificate of parents.
