Kenya’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden with accreditation to the Nordics and the Baltics, Her Excellency Angeline Musili on 8th April 2024, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden H.E. Tobias Billströms. It was the first meeting with the Foreign Minister following Her Excellency’s presentation of credentials to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf.

Sweden is one of Kenya’s leading development partner, this years marking 60th anniversary of excellent ties between Kenya and Sweden. Development cooperation has concentrated on support and collaboration in Kenya’s democratic process and governance, trade and investment, environment, climate change agenda peace and security and education. To this end, the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador discussed strategies to upscale the relations between the two countries in these areas as well as at multilateral level.
